Tonight, you will be able to play the magnificent pictures of the Universe which you usually watch, and – why not? dance to the sound of nebulae and planets!

3D Constellations

Humankind has always tried to find familiars shapes in the stars, just like looking for shapes in the clouds. This is how constellations and all their related stories were born.

Tonight you will get to know beautiful Cassiopeia and her stories, so as to  discover that constellations, just lie many phenomena in the Universe, are not always as they appear.

Hunting the Invisible

Galaxies and stars emit a kind of light that our eyes cannot see: i.e. radio waves. In this activity you will become radioastronomers: by using special instruments, capable of sensing radio waves, you are going to hunt stars and galaxies in a cosmic treasure hunt to discover the invisible!

An explorative workshop on smells and things that we cannot perceive with our senses. Starting from everyday odors and even sniffing a comet, you will discover that a few things exist even though we cannot perceive them. We can however study them by using special instruments and observing how these things affect their environment.

Never ask a Galaxy’s Age

There are billions of galaxies in our Universe, and each of them contains billions of stars. Are galaxies all the same? Will the stars inside them be all the same? Today you will act as astronomers, so as to discover how to measure the age of a galaxy: we will look inside them and will play with the stars, in order to understand why your grandparents are younger than the Milky Way.
